When user accounts are created, they will be assigned roles which give the users specific permissions to features or data, as well as access to documents and saved views which have been shared with those roles. These roles are created for your Momentus Elite account by your Sys Admin.
When creating roles, you are able to select one of our standard roles. When you select a standard role, the Create Role slider will open with certain permissions pre-checked. You can then add or remove permissions to customize the role for your venue. For example, you may wish your Detailing users to be able to mark invoices as sent — simply check the Mark invoices as sent permission.
The standard roles are:
- View-Only: View-only users can view the events calendars, event and function lists, use tasks, view accounts and contacts, and access the report and dashboard pages to view reports and dashboards which have been shared with them. Users will only see events on the calendars and lists which they have venue access to (the standard roles include all venues by default, but a venue can be removed). In addition to basic event details, users will be able to view event documents that are shared with them and view live entertainment information.
- Booking: This role is for users who will be booking events. It includes most functionality including features useful to live entertainment bookers, such as Artist Research and event details visibility.
- Detailing: The Detailing role is designed for event coordinators and other users who are responsible for adding and editing event detailing. This role allows users to add rental rates, items, packages, and instructions to events, create event orders, add post-show reports, and add payments and discounts in addition to other functionality.
- Finance: The Finance Role has been created for users who are responsible for AR. This role allows them to update event financials, invoice for events, view all event financials, and manage payments, credits, and refunds.
- Full Access: The Full Access role has all permissions selected. Please note that this does not include Sys Admin access. Sys Admin is a separate system role that can be added to a user in addition to the Full Access role.
Below is a list of all permissions and which ones each role has pre-selected. For an explanation what each permission does, please see User Role Permissions. Remember! These permissions are just the ones that are pre-selected for you; you are able to add or remove permissions as needed.
