Permissions needed: Accounts & Contacts Edit
- Click person Contacts on the left.
- Click the + add icon in the upper-right corner.
- Add an account for your new contact to be in.
- Start typing the name of the account. As you type, a list of suggested accounts will pop up.
- Click the appropriate account from the suggestions to select it.
- Type the name of the account.
- Click Create '[Account Name]'.
- The fields for account information will appear. The account's lead source and market segment are required, but an address is not. You can also set whether or not the account is tax exempt.
- Type the name of the contact in the Name field.
- As you type, the First Name and Last Name will fill. Update these fields if needed, such as if your contact has a first name made up of two words.
The Name field is required; the First Name and Last Name fields are not. The Name field is what appears throughout the application and is used in searches. The First Name and Last Name fields can be used in your document templates and also when exporting the contact list for mailing lists and such.
- Select the contact's salutation.
If your account does not have salutations created, this field will not appear. 
- Select any tags which apply to this contact.
- Type the contact's title.
- Set an email address and phone number for the contact. By clicking the + add icon next to the primary email/phone, you can add as many secondary emails/phones as needed. If your Momentus Elite account has email and phone types set up, you can select those, as well. For more information about email and phone types, please see Manage Email, Phone and Address Types.
- Set who this contact reports to. This will allow you to build hierarchies of your contacts that you can refer to later. Begin typing the name of the contact's manager to bring up a list of suggestions. Each contact will be listed with the account they are in for additional context and in case of shared or similar names. Click the appropriate contact to select it.
- You cannot add a contact using this field. If the contact's manager has not been added yet, you can update this contact once he or she has been added.

- Type a short bio/note about the contact.
- Type an address for the contact. By clicking the + add icon next to the primary address, you can add as many secondary addresses as needed. If your Elite account has address types set up, you can select those, as well. For more information about address types, please see Manage Email, Phone, and Address Types.
- Once all the desired information is added for the contact, click Save.
