Contact tags allow you to assign properties or attributes to a contact such as the relationship type (client, prospect, vendor, and such), warnings (such as hard to contact), and more. Adding or removing a contact tag is tracked in the contact activity log, making contact tags useful to track client consent.
To tag a contact:
- Go to the account's details page and click the pencil by General Information.
- Click in the Contact Tags field and select all applicable tags.
If your account doesn't have any tags, please see Add Contact Tags.
- Click Save.
- The contact will now be tagged. These tags will also appear in the contact list, on the contact's events, and when booking events.
- To view when a contact tag has been added or removed, click the more_vert more info icon in the header and select Activity Log.
- The activity log will show which tag was added/removed, who added/removed it, and when it was added/removed.
