One of the most efficient ways to edit multiple booked spaces on an event is via the Edit Spaces slider. In this slider you're able to:
- Edit the description, time, usage, and status of one or more booked spaces.
- Add additional dates to an event.
- Add additional rooms/booked spaces to an event.
- Change a booked space to a different room.
- Remove individual booked spaces or an entire date.
While the Edit Spaces slider allows you to do many things, there are other ways to edit spaces which could work well for you and your workflow. Please see Edit Booked Spaces for use cases and links to instructions.

Filter Booked Spaces
On the event details page, you are able to filter which booked spaces appear in the Edit Spaces slider. This allows you to take advantage of the top row of chips in the slider to make edits on specific booked spaces without having to update each one individually or mistakenly edit spaces which shouldn't have been.
To filter booked spaces:
- Click the filter_list filter icon.
- Select your filter criteria. You may filter by date, usage, room, or any combination of the filters.
If you filter on a room which is a member of a combo or if you filter on a combo, all related spaces will be included in the filter. Because of this, the number of rooms in the filter chip may not match your selection in the filter slider. Hover over the room filter chip to see a list of rooms included in the filter.
- Click Set to apply your filtering to the booked spaces list.
- A chip for each filter will appear and only booked spaces meeting your selected criteria will display.
- To remove a filter, click the X in its chip.
- To remove all filtering, click the red clear by the filter icon.
Edit Booked Spaces
To move an event to different dates, please use the move feature explained in Move an Event to a Different Day rather than changing the dates on the booked spaces. Using the move feature ensures that functions, items, instructions and other event details which have dates are updated to the new event dates.
- Open the Edit Spaces slider on either the event details page or the calendar summary slider:
- The blue chips at the top of the slider allow you to edit information for all dates and spaces in the slider:
- Click + Dates to add additional dates to the event.
- Click + Rooms to add rooms to all dates in the slider.
- Click Description, Times, Usages, or Status to update that information for all booked spaces in the slider.
- The chips in each day header allow you to add rooms to that date and update the description, time, usage, and status for all booked spaces on that date which are displaying in the slider.
- Click the description, time, usage, or status on a booked space to update it.
- You may also change a booked space's room:
- Click the room name.
- Search or scroll to find the new room.
- Select the new room.
- To remove a booked space or all booked spaces displaying on a date, click the X by it.
- When all information is updated, click Save.
- If there are rental rates on the event, be sure to update them as needed after your changes. Please see for more information in Edit Rental Rates on Events about how rental rates may have to be updated after changes to booked spaces.
- Edits and changes to booked spaces will not update functions in those spaces. Any functions which are outside of the booked space for the event will display a warning on the detailing tab.
