You are able to assign a market segment to accounts. If market segments are created, they will be required on all accounts.
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click list Misc on the left.
- Click Market Segments.
- Click the edit pencil icon to open the Edit Market Segments slider.
- In the slider, you can:
- Click a name field to update a market segment's name.
The new name will not be seen on accounts which already have this market segment. To see the new name on the account, open the Edit Information slider, select the updated market segment, and save. Both the old name (if it is still on accounts) and the new name will appear as filtering options in the app and in reports.
- Click + Add Market Segment to add a new market segment.
- Click the delete remove icon next to a market segment to remove it.
If you remove a market segment, any accounts with that market segment will still have it. You are able to filter by the removed market segment on the accounts pages to find those accounts and update them, if needed.
- Click a name field to update a market segment's name.
- When you are done updating your market segments, click Save. Your changes and additions will be saved, and the market segments will be listed alphabetically.
