When you send avails, proposals, contracts, and other documents from your Momentus Elite account, the from address is firstname.lastname@example.org and the reply-to address is the email address associated with your Elite account. This ensures that you receive any replies, but many users understandably prefer to have their own email listed in the from. You are able to achieve this by either authorizing us to send email from your domain or we can set up individual sender signatures.
To authorize us to send email from your domain we use an email authentication method called DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM). To set up DKIM on your Elite account, we will work with your IT department to add a key from your host or DNS provider to our email service which will authorize us to send email from your domain. Once a domain is authorized, any email sent by a Elite user whose login email uses that domain will have the user's address in the from. This means that for many Elite accounts, we'll only have to set this up one time.
To set up an individual sender signature, each user to be set up will receive an email from our email service. In the email will be a link to click to confirm that we can use your address to send email from.
Please note that email will not be sent via your email servers and you will not see sent mail in your email account - It is still a best practice to check Send a copy to me to have that record.
