Every venue has key personnel for each event and often has key personnel for each function within events. Event and function Staff Assignments allow you to create specific responsibilities and then assign the staff member who will be filling it for the event or function. Create Staff Assignments
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click event Events in the left sidebar and select the Detailing tab.
- Navigate to either the Event Staff Assignments or Function Staff Assignments sub-tab and click the plus to open the Add Staff Assignment slider.
- Name the staff assignment.

Click each venue and select the users who could be assigned that role. You can tab to move from venue to venue without explicitly closing the multi-select.
If no users are selected for a staff assignment in a venue, the assignment will be hidden on that venue's events. - Once all users have been assigned, click Save.
Sort Staff Assignments
Once you've created your staff assignments, you may specify the order you would like the list of staff assignments to appear.
- Click the sort sort icon on either the Event Staff Assignments or Function Staff Assignments sub-tab.
- Click the icon by a staff assignment and drag it to its new place.
- Click Save.
Edit Staff Assignments
To update the name of a staff assignment or change the users selected:
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click event Events in the left sidebar and select the Detailing tab.
- Navigate to either the Event Staff Assignments or Function Staff Assignments sub-tab and click the staff assignment you wish to edit.

Update the name and/or users as you wish.
If you rename a staff assignment and have reports which use them, please contact us to have the reports updated. - Click Save.
Remove Staff Assignments
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click event Events in the left sidebar and select the Detailing tab.
- Navigate to either the Event Staff Assignments or Function Staff Assignments sub-tab and click the staff assignment you wish to remove.

Click Remove.
This is a permanent deletion and cannot be undone. - Confirm that you want to remove the staff assignment.
- A message will appear advising you to contact the Client Success team; any reports using staff assignments will need to be updated before they can be run. Click OK.
