Momentus Elite can log any email sent from Elite. Logs include what was sent (with attachments), who it was sent to, and when it was sent. If an email bounces, a bounce log will be created with full details, including the recipient’s information, a timestamp, and the reason for the bounce. Emails are logged on the Emails tab depending on where the email was sent from. Emails are not automatically deleted; unless you remove it manually, an email will remain in the email logs indefinitely.
When a recipient replies to an email which was sent with email logging on, there will be an email address which is a long string of letters and numbers. This email address is how replies are logged. If the person replying to your email removes this address, the reply will not be logged.
To enable or disable email logging:
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click Emails in the left sidebar.
- In the Email Logging card, click the edit pencil.
- Check Email Logging to enable the feature, uncheck it to disable the feature.
- Click Save.
If you have disabled email logging, existing email logs will not be deleted. To delete a log, go to the log and click the delete trash can icon.
