Salutations are fields that can be used in document templates, allowing you to address your clients appropriately. You can also add them to contact list exports to create mailing lists.
To add, edit, or remove a salutation:
- Click on your name in the upper left corner and select System Admin to access the Admin console.
- Click list Misc on the left.
- Click Salutations.
- Click the edit pencil icon to open the Edit Salutations slider.
- In the slider, you can:
- Click the name field to update a salutation.
Any contacts with the edited salutation will still have the original name. To see the new name on the contact, open the Edit Contact slider, select the updated salutation, and save.
- Click + Add Salutation to add a new salutation.
- Click the delete remove icon next to a salutation to remove it.
- Click the name field to update a salutation.
- When you are done updating your salutations, click Save. Your changes and additions will be saved, and the salutations will be listed alphabetically.
