All inventory items require at least one rate, and each rate has a rate type which describes how you are selling the item, such as standard, overtime, daily, or weekly. For more about the various fields on items and item rates, see How do rate types, rate quantities, units, quantities, time units, and time quantities work together?
To add, edit, or delete rate types:
- Click your name in the upper-left corner and select Inventory & Prices.
- Click Setup and select the Rate Types sub-tab.
