Operations Hub Jobs Notifications alert you to activity on jobs you care about, delivered directly in the application. You control which jobs you receive notifications for and how far out activity needs to be to be relevant to you. When a qualifying change occurs, a badge appears on the bell icon in the top navigation and the notification appears in the Notification Center.
You can be notified about these job updates:
- Job Modified (Changes to name, date, time, organizational team, room, or event)
- User Assigned
- Job Blocked
- Job Photo
- Event Updated
- Job Canceled
- Job Status Changed
- Comment Added
- Job Ready

Notification Subscriptions
Notifications are controlled by subscriptions. Each subscription defines a set of rules for the notification. You can have multiple subscriptions. For example, you may want to be notified of job assignment changes 48 hours before the job is due (48 hour Window and User Assigned Type), but on the day you are working the job you may want to receive a notification of any change, so you create a second subscription for all Types with a 12 hour Window.
- Jobs in New or Canceled status do not generate notifications.
- You will not receive a notification for job changes that you make.
Notification Subscriptions are created and managed in your settings. Click your name in the upper-left corner and select My Settings and go to the Notifications tab. You can also click the gear icon on the Notification Center.
Add a subscription
- On the Notifications tab, click the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the page. The Add Subscription slider opens.
- In the Source field, select Ops Hub Jobs.
- Make sure Active is checked. Uncheck this if you want to save the subscription without activating it yet.
- Set the following fields:
- Channel: Select how you want to receive notifications. In-App is currently the only available channel.
- Notifications Window: Select how long before the job is due that you want to start receiving notifications about it: 12 hours before it is due, 24 hours before it is due, and so on,
- Notification Types: Select the types of job activity that should trigger this notification.
- Scope: Select which jobs you should be notified about: All Jobs, My Organizational Team's Jobs, or My Jobs. Depending on your permissions, not all options may be available for you.
- Click Save.
Inactivate a subscription
On the subscription you want to inactivate, uncheck Active. Inactive subscriptions are hidden, so it may disappear depending on your page view! Click the eye icon to view inactive subscriptions.
Delete a subscription
- Click the red trash icon on the subscription you want to delete. A confirmation pop-up displays.
- Click Yes in the confirmation. The subscription is deleted.
The Notification Center
The Notification Center shows a running log of job activity that matches your notification subscriptions. When new notifications arrive, the bell icon in the top-right corner of the application shows a badge with the unread count. Click the bell to open the Notification Center, where you can view, filter, search, and navigate to the jobs that generated them.
Toggle Announce on to receive an in-app pop-up notification when a notification arrives.
Filter and Search
You can filter notifications by:
- All notifications
- Only unread notifications
- Notifications from the last hour
- Notifications from the last 24 hours
Use the search bar to find a specific notification by job name or other keywords.
Mark Notifications as Read
Click a notification to mark it as read, or click Mark all Read in the upper-right corner of the panel to mark all notifications as read at once. Bold styling is removed and the badge clears.
Notification History
Notifications are retained for 30 days. Notifications older than 30 days are removed automatically.
