This article walks you through the options for coloring for your calendar. You may also:
- Choose what information displays for each event as well as if events should span across days or appear as single-day events. See Event Calendar Display Options for more about display options.
- Filter which events and other information (internal events, blackouts, notes, publicity dates) displays. Please see Event Calendar Filtering Options for more about filtering.
You are able to save your changes to use again by creating custom calendar views.
To access the display options and change the color coding, click the storage display options icon in the upper-right corner of your calendar:

Status
When the block on the calendar represents multiple booked spaces, the span is colored by the overall event status. When a block represents a single booked space, it is colored by the booked space's status. You may color Tentative 1 events (first holds) differently than tentative events of lower ranks

Usage
Usage is assigned to booked spaces. In calendar views where a block can include multiple booked spaces (usually the monthly calendar), it will be colored based on the usage type in this order: Event > Load-in > Load-out > Dark. For example, if a block represents two booked spaces, one which has a load-in usage and one which has a dark usage, the block will be colored as load-in.
