Event adjustments are "above the line" entries that originate from existing rental rates or item allocations but create offsetting (negative) revenue entries, adjusting the associated revenue, discounts, taxes, service charges, and their GL accounts. This allows adjustments to be used when reversing charges from invoices that have already been marked as sent.
If you have added adjustments and are not seeing them on your invoices, your templates may have to be updated. Please contact us so we can investigate.
For more information about when to use event adjustments, please see Discounts and Adjustments: Reducing the Amount a Client is Charged.
