If you itemize the taxes or service charges on your event documents or reports, you may see a tax or service charge which is named patched.
In our June 2020 update, we switched from saving event tax and service charge information as a single, combined amount to saving each tax as a separate value. Because of this, we needed to update event tax and service charge information already stored on the event. This was done by running a patcher during the release process.
In order to add the name of the tax or service charge, we matched it with an existing tax or service charge in your account's price schedule setup. If the tax or service charge had been removed (often the case when data is migrated), we couldn't make that match. Those taxes and service charges were labeled as Patched Tax or Patched Service Charge.
