New
Invoice Numbering Updates
Managing and auditing your invoices just got easier! Invoice numbers will now be consecutively sequential. You are also able to configure custom prefixes for invoice numbers to help you streamline financial operations and maintain compliance.
- Sequential Invoice Numbering: Maintain compliance and simplify auditing with gap-free, uninterrupted invoice numbering. Each new invoice number follows the previous one sequentially.
- Invoice Number Prefixes: Configure prefixes to be selected when creating an invoice, including setting a default.
- Invoice Next Number: Set the next invoice number. This is useful if you use the fiscal year as the prefix and need to start over at one each year (2025-0000001 and so on).
Invoice numbers are now seven digits (0000001 and so on) and will no longer include the tenant ID and document node ID as they did in the past (see Unique IDs in Momentus Elite). During the release, current accounts will have their Invoice Next Number set as their highest invoice number plus one. If you would like to keep the current tenant ID/document note ID pattern, configure that as a prefix post-release and set it as the default.

Rollout Process and Early Adopter Program
Want to try out the enhanced UX for Functions as updates are available? Join the early access list via the opt-in dialog box on the Event Detailing page in Momentus Elite. A member of our product team will reach out to confirm once access has been granted. By choosing to opt-in, you will receive feedback requests within the application to help us continue improving this feature.
Automatically Create Functions When Booking
As a part of our event detailing improvements, you now have the option to create a function for each booked space when you book the event. On the Create Event slider, toggle Automatically create a function for the booked spaces on.
WeTrack Risk Integration
With the new WeTrack Risk integration, venues can gain quick insights into possible risks associated with their events in Momentus Elite.
How does it work?
- If your venue does not have a WeTrack account, then you will be presented with a general risk score and the top common risks based on generic event data such as the venue capacity, event type, and attendance.
- If your venue has a WeTrack account and a risk profile has been completed for the event, then you will see the risk score based on the associated WeTrack risk assessment.
- If your venue has a WeTrack account but a risk profile has not yet been completed, then you will see a prompt to go into WeTrack and complete the risk profile so that the score assessment can be updated.
Momentus Payments ACH Support
Momentus Elite Customers using Momentus Payments can now accept ACH / Bank Transfers through the Unified Checkout experience and take advantage of lower processing fees.
When Momentus Payments is selected as the Payment Gateway, admins are able to designate separate payment types for Credit Card and ACH/Bank Transfer payments in the Inventory & Prices > Setup area.
Email Bounce Management
You are now able to be informed of email bounces:
- Email Bounce Logging: When an email fails to reach its recipient and you have enabled email logging, you will see a Bounce log with full details, including the recipient’s information, a timestamp, and the reason for the bounce. This will give you the visibility you need to follow up on undelivered messages and ensure successful communication.
- Email logging must be enabled to see these logs. If you enable logging, any bounces prior to logging being enabled will not be visible.
- Email Bounce Notification: You can now subscribe to receive email bounce notifications for when emails you have sent via Momentus Elite fail to reach their recipient. Under My Settings > Email > Email Notifications, select Email Bounced. Note that you will only receive notifications about emails that you have personally sent.
Improved
Booking Portal
We’re continuing to enhance our booking portal add-on module to improve usability and consistency. This round of enhancements includes:
- Price breakdown when ordering items: We’re introducing a new Info icon next to item prices on the booking portal. Hover over the icon to see a detailed price breakdown, helping you understand how rates, quantities, and durations contribute to the final cost of your selected items.
- Improved confirmation page: We’ve replaced the Time Quantity column with the Duration column, displaying calculated durations in a readable format. This update ensures you can easily understand how quantities, durations, and prices align.
- Updated booking capability options sort order: When setting booking capabilities for groups, the status order is now Prospect, Tentative, and Definite.
- Improved layout consistency when configuring new user groups: The Description field is now positioned last, and the Create Internal Events option is available directly on the Create slider.
- Clearer and more consistent interface on the Group General Settings page: The group's active status will display as Yes or No, and fields such as Site and Description will always display, even when blank, to avoid any ambiguity.
- There were numerous additional general updates to UI labels, buttons, and icons for improved clarity and consistency.
Post-Show Notes and Report Emails
- Event email template types can now be used when emailing a Post-Show Report from the Post-Show Reports email slider. This allows you to pull event-specific data into your post-show emails.
- Post-Show Note titles can now be edited/updated without losing existing data. Rather than the note being identified in the database by its title, they are now identified by an underlying identification number.
Other Improvements
- Invoice-related tasks which were part of a deleted task template will no longer cause errors on the related invoice. These errors include incorrectly locked charges and invoices failing to send.
- Due to an update in the third-party Handlebars template editor, the menu bar icon for page breaks and the horizontal page break graphic no longer appear in the editor. Page breaks can still be inserted using the code view, adding this HTML code where the break is needed:
<hr class="fr-page-break">
. This change does not affect customers using the newer Insights templates.
