Alternate Language Support for Inventory
Inventory records now support alternate language values for Departments, Categories, Items, Units, and Rate Types, managed from a new Translations tab in Inventory & Prices. Venues serving multilingual audiences can produce proposals, contracts, and invoices with inventory names and descriptions in the customer's preferred language, without maintaining separate inventory setups for each language.
- In System Admin > Configuration, a system admin enables the feature and selects which languages to make available. Once enabled, the Translations tab appears automatically in Inventory & Prices.
- Users with Inventory & Prices > Edit permission are able to update translations. Users with Inventory & Prices > View permission can view translations.
- Items support three alternate fields per language: Item Name, Description, and Billing Note. Departments, Categories, Units, and Rate Types each support an alternate name field.
- Users can select one, multiple, or all records and apply bulk actions from the actions bar:
- Auto-translate: Generate suggested translations using AWS.
- Verify: Mark translations as confirmed for accuracy. Auto-translated values are unverified by default; manually entered values are marked as verified automatically since the user is choosing the input directly. Editing a verified translation clears its verification so it can be reviewed again.
- Clear Translations: Remove all content from the selected translation fields.
- Reset Translations: Revert the selected fields to their last saved state.
- The Translations tab can be filtered by language and inventory type (Departments, Categories, Items, Rates, Units, or all at once). A Search field narrows results further. Translation status filters help focus work across large inventories:
- Needs Translation: Records with no value entered
- Needs Verification: Records with a translation present but not yet confirmed
- Modified: Records changed during the current session but not yet saved
- Inventory translated into alternate languages is used in document generation; it is not available to display in the application.
See Translate Inventory to Alternate Languages for more information and instructions.
Create Documents in Alternate Languages
To create documents using inventory in alternate languages, your document templates must be updated. Contact us for assistance.
Once you've added inventory translations and your templates have been updated, you can generate documents in those languages:
- Accounts now include a Default Document Language field. Set the language the account usually uses so that you don't have to select the language each time you create a template.
- When generating a document, select the language in the new Default Document Language field. The default chosen on the account will be selected, but you can choose a different language if needed.
You can only use alternate languages in document templates. Reports are not supported at this time.
Price Schedule Bulk Adjustments
Price schedules now support bulk adjustments to cost, price, and GL codes across an entire schedule or filtered by item type, department, or category. Venue staff can complete broad pricing updates, such as seasonal rate changes, across-the-board increases, or GL code reassignments, in a single workflow.
- Adjustments can be applied by percentage or flat amount (with options to increase or decrease) or set the cost/price to an exact amount.
- A preview shows the adjusted amount and difference for each line item before saving.
- Individual line items can be overridden after the bulk adjustment is applied.
- Use Reset All to revert to starting amounts at any time before saving.
- Requires the Inventory & Prices > Edit permission.
See Bulk Adjust Cost, Price, and GL Codes in a Price Schedule for more information and instructions.
Improved
Italian Language and Regional Setting Support
Italian is now available as a supported language in Elite, selectable in configuration (Region Settings and Language) and in User configuration as a per-user Language Override. For more information about language and region settings see:
- Set Account Default Language
- Set a Different Language for a User
- Set Your Account Region and Currency
Event Detailing Functions Enhancements
The new Detailing UX includes several interaction and workflow improvements.
- Bulk Actions: Event-Wide Functions now support Copy, Bulk Edit, and Delete in bulk.
- Clickable rows: Clicking anywhere on a function row opens the function details, rather than requiring a specific target.
- Jobs column: The Functions table now includes a Jobs column showing which functions are tied to jobs, with a direct link to Jobs Management in the Operations Hub. This column is only an option if you are using Ops Hub.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
- A new keyboard-accessible Keyboard Quick Search lets users search across Events, Functions, Accounts, Contacts, Tasks, Event Outline, Jobs, Reports, and Dashboards from anywhere in the application. Results respect each user's existing permissions. To open the Keyboard Quick Search, press Ctrl+K from anywhere in the application. We've updated Using Search and Keyboard Quick Search to include this new search.
- Each category searches relevant identifiers: event name or ID, contact name/email/phone number, job number/name/ID, and so on.
- Confirmed events that are active in Operations Hub can be opened directly in Operations Hub from the search results.
- Event Order downloads from the Event List and Reports page now include a template type selector, so users can choose which order types to include rather than downloading all available event orders. If your venue has specialized order types for various departments, this makes it easier to download only the documents relevant for you and your team.
- The Events tab on Accounts now displays venue and rooms booked as well as estimated and actual attendance for each event, alongside the existing status and date.
- The Invoice ID (system/database ID) now appears on the invoice slider in addition to the Invoice Number. You can search for invoices with using the Invoice ID in both the regular search and the new Global Quick Search.
- A new Source field on events indicates where each event originated, making it easier to understand how bookings are coming in across channels. The field is set automatically by the system and options cannot be customized.
- Sources include Elite (booked in-app), Booking Portal, and Open API.
- The Source field displays on the calendar summary slider, event details page on the Overview tab, and is available as a filter on the Calendar and Event List. It is also available in Insights.
- The Booking Portal Email address for an existing Booking Portal User can now be updated directly from the contact's Booking Portal tab, allowing staff to correct entry errors or update an email when a contact's information changes without losing contact history. Requires Account & Contacts > Edit permission.
Operations Hub Enhancements
Ops Hub: Dashboard Enhancements
- The Ops Hub Events List now includes five additional filters in the Filter Events panel: Business Classification, Assigned To (staff assignments), and Created By as well as exclude internal and blackout events.
Ops Hub: Event Outline Enhancements
- Event Tags and Event Description are now available in the Event Details block of an event outline.
- Contact Tags are now available as in the Event Contacts block of an event outline.
- The "Click to delete" text in the Event Outline block menu now displays with improved contrast, making it easier to read before confirming the action.
Ops Hub: Jobs Enhancements
- Jobs data is now available in Insights for reporting, giving operations and event managers the ability to build custom reports that reflect job activity across their teams, rooms, events, and functions. Available fields include Job #, Job Name, Due Date, Due Time, Status, Organizational Team, Assignee, Room(s), Event(s), Function(s), checklist progress count, Created By, Created Date, Last Updated, and Last Updated By.
- A Jobs column is now available as an optional addition to the Functions table on the event details page Detailing tab. When the column is displayed, an icon indicates which functions have associated jobs; selecting the icon opens a dialog showing the Job Number, Job Name, and Org Team, with a link to open Jobs Management filtered for that event. The column is off by default and is only visible to users with at least View permission for Jobs.
- The Job detail view in Jobs Fulfillment now includes a close button, providing a clear way to return to the Jobs Fulfillment list without using breadcrumb navigation.
- The Job Details page now includes quick-access to the Job's event so users can reference the event without losing context of the job they are working on. Click View Event Details and the event will open in a new tab,
Search and Filter Improvements
- The Event filter in Jobs Management now supports searching by an event's Unique ID in addition to event name, making it easier to select the correct event when multiple events have similar names.
- The Jobs Management search bar now supports searching by an event's Unique ID in addition to event name.
- A "None" option is now available in the Assignee and Function Type filters in Jobs Management and Jobs Fulfillment, allowing users to surface jobs with no assignee or no function type assigned.
- An "All Days" option is now available in the Jobs Management Date filter. When navigating to Jobs Management from the Jobs Dashboard widget on an event, the view automatically applies the All Days filter to show all jobs for the event regardless of date. The default date filter for users accessing Jobs Management directly remains "Next 7 Days".
- When using the "All Days" option, we highly recommend you use other filters at the same time (such as filtering by job statuses so Done jobs don't display). This filter used on its own has the potential to load a large number of jobs and cause the page to load slowly.
Comments on Jobs
- Users working jobs in Jobs Fulfillment (Jobs (Operations Hub) > View + User can work jobs or Jobs (Operations Hub) > Edit permissions) can comment on and view comments on any job they can access for their organizational team. Users can only edit or remove their own comments; comments from other users are view-only. Comments have a 1,000-character limit.
- Users viewing jobs in Jobs Management (Jobs (Operations Hub) > View permission) can view all comments on jobs. They cannot add or remove comments.
- Users editing jobs in Jobs Management (Jobs (Operations Hub) > Edit permission) can add comments, view all comments, and remove any comment, regardless of who added it. Users cannot edit comments added by other users.
- Comment activity, including adding, editing, and removing comments, is now recorded in the Job Change Log, giving supervisors and managers a complete audit trail of comment activity on a job.
Photo Attachments for Jobs
Jobs Fulfillment users can now upload photos directly to a job, providing visual documentation of completed work or issues encountered on-site. Jobs Management users can moderate photo content across their team's jobs from Jobs Management, and photos are accessible to the broader event team through the Event Documents tab on the event details page.
- Users working jobs in Jobs Fulfillment (Jobs (Operations Hub) > View + User can work jobs or Jobs (Operations Hub) > Edit permissions) can now upload photos as attachments, with an optional description of up to 150 characters. Any user with access to the job can view and download photos (the same as other attachments); users can only remove their own photos.
- Maximum file size per photo is 30 MB.
- The name of the photo with a timestamp is added when the photo is uploaded; this can be edited afterwards.
- Users viewing jobs in Jobs Management (Jobs (Operations Hub) > View permission) can view all photos on jobs. They cannot edit descriptions or remove comments.
- Users editing jobs in Jobs Management (Jobs (Operations Hub) > Edit permission) can view all photos, edit photo names and descriptions, and remove any photo, regardless of who added it. They can only add photos if they have claimed the job.
- Photo upload and removal activity is now recorded in the Job Change Log, providing an audit trail of photo activity on a job.
- Photos uploaded to Jobs are also available on the event details page > Documents tab in a dedicated Job Photos sub-tab. This tab displays when the first photo is uploaded on an event. Photos are grouped by Job Number and are accessible to the broader event team for viewing and downloading.
- Photos in this tab are view/download only; they are added and removed through the job.
Jobs Fulfillment: View, Claim, and Work Jobs has been updated to reflect these enhancements.
Jobs Notifications
Ops Hub Jobs now includes an in-app notification system that alerts users to activity on jobs they care about, delivered in real time without requiring a page refresh. Managers and staff no longer need to monitor the Jobs board manually to stay current on status changes, reassignments, or approaching due dates.
- Each user can configure notification preferences in User Settings: choose the scope of jobs to be notified about (My Jobs, My Team's Jobs, or All Jobs), what types of activities to be notified about, and how long before the job is due that you want to receive notifications about it (24 hrs, 48 hrs, 7 days, 14 days, or All).
- Jobs in New or Canceled status do not produce notifications.
- View notifications in the Notification Center:
- Click the bell icon in the upper-right corner of Elite to open the center and view notifications.
- Click a notification to mark it as read, or click Mark all as read to mark all of them at once.
- Filter by time frame and search for specific notifications. You can also toggle on (or off) an in-app pop-up notification using the Announce option.
See Operations Hub Jobs Notifications for details and instructions.
Insights Enhancements
- Fixed an issue where booked spaces data in Insights showed incorrect results when a room had been moved to a different venue.
- Insights now reflects the same sort order shown in the application for Departments, Categories, Venues, Rooms, Items, Instructions, and Package Components, so report data appears in the order you expect.
- A new Dates view is now available in Insights for building reports that show every date in a range, even when no events or functions are scheduled on those dates. This makes it straightforward to produce distribution schedules and similar reports where empty dates need to appear alongside active ones.
API/Webhook Updates
- The API documentation now includes an Internal section covering internal-only endpoints. Developers building or maintaining integrations can reference the full set of available endpoints in one place.
- Refunds are now included in standard webhooks, sending a payload whenever a refund is created or modified, in the same format used for payments and credits. Financial integrations can receive real-time notifications for refunds alongside other transaction types.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue where one user opting in to the new Detailing page experience activated the new UI for all users on the account rather than only the user who opted in.
- Fixed an issue where replies to avails emails were not logging against the contact record in Elite when the Elite address was kept on the reply.
- Fixed an issue where applying bold formatting to part of a line in an instruction description created an extra line break after the bold text when generating a template.
- Fixed an issue where scheduled reports were failing to run and failure notification emails were not being delivered reliably.
- Fixed an issue where updating GTD attendance directly from the Functions view in Detailing did not update quantities on package items set to "Override with Function GTD."
- Fixed an issue where the Series Mass Editor failed to apply updates when multiple events in the series shared the same space, date, and Hold status.
- Fixed an issue where iCal calendar subscription links generated with outdated encryption keys were failing to load.
