We are delighted to introduce enhancements to the Event Detailing page that will ensure ease and clarity for users - saving time, reducing clicks, and minimizing frustration. The new, intuitive design optimizes the organization of information - eliminating unnecessary complexities and empowering our users with greater confidence in the actions they take.

Rollout Process and Early Adopter Program
Want to try out the enhanced UX for Functions as updates are available? Join the early access list via the opt-in dialog box on the Event Detailing page in Momentus Elite. By choosing to opt-in, you will receive feedback requests within the application to help us continue improving this feature.
Improved
Event Detailing New UX
- Start/End Time Control with All Day Toggle Option: Revamped inline start and end time editing to include an All Day toggle option. You can now toggle All Day on or off via the inline time editing workflow, saving time and making event updates more efficient.
- Finalized Event Functions: When an event is finalized, function checkboxes will be disabled as editing is not possible on finalized event functions.
- Function Staff Assignments Ordering: The list order displayed when viewing Function Staff Assignments now follows the sort order set in admin.
- Room Setup Column: Added Room Setup column in the functions table view when using the new interface experience.
- Copying Functions: When copying functions from the Detailing screen, checkboxes for empty departments are now shown in a disabled (greyed out) state.
- Bulk Edit Functions: Added bulk actions to the new functions page experience! You can now Edit, Copy, and Delete functions in bulk:
- Bulk Edit Functions: Bulk editing will be available for the fields you have displayed in your current view. Note that when editing start and end times, the same conflict checking rules apply. If you edit the start time, but leave the end time empty, then this will be treated with the same logic as inline editing and, if an end time exists for any of the selected functions, it will be updated to no end time.
- Copying Single Day Functions: Select one or more functions across multiple dates, select details to include, and choose one or multiple dates to copy into.
- Copying Multi-Day Functions: Select one or more functions across multiple dates, select which details to include, but you can choose only one start date to copy into. You'll receive a warning when copying a multi-day function as it may result in functions outside of the booked space, with a prompt to confirm.
- Deleting Functions: Note that deleting a function is irreversible, and these details will not be able to be restored once removed from the database.
WeTrack Risk Widget Updates
- Improved icons and display formatting for communication around potential event risks.
- Risk Profile and Risk Score now only appear to users who have a corresponding user account on WeTrack.
Clarification Updates
- Changed text label to "Automatically create a function for each booked space" to clarify that a separate function is created for each booked space when creating a new event or booking a new space.
API / Webhooks
- Elite Webhook Enhancements: More Accurate Triggering, Less Duplication - We’ve made improvements to the Elite webhook system to ensure that webhook calls are only triggered for relevant actions. Now:
- Invoice webhooks only fire for invoice-related changes.
- Payment webhooks only trigger for payment-related updates.
- Event webhooks remain exclusive to event modifications.
- This update helps reduce duplicate processing and improves webhook efficiency.
Fixed
- Event-wide functions no longer accept non-standard characters in the start and end time fields.
- Improved Event Names to ensure readability on mobile devices.
- Resolved an issue where "Automatically create a function for each booked space" was showing when booking an Inquiry, even though it's not applicable.
- Bug Fixes in the Event Detailing New UX:
- Updated permissions in the Event Details UX to ensure only users with Detailing > Edit can edit event-wide function dates.
- Updated shared view permissions in the new Event Detailing view to ensure only users with Edit Saved View permissions can edit them.
- Functions created automatically for each booked space now consistently follow the naming format: "Function - [Room Name]".
- Fixed an issue on the Edit table view slider that was causing erroneous row highlighting when selecting users to share a saved view with.
- Updated error state display formatting in the new Event Detailing UX when there are erroneous start/end times or missing required fields.
- Fixed an issue where only one day was being copied when duplicating a multi-day function.
- Resolved minor formatting issues in the new interface.
