New
Operations Hub
Launching with our webinar on Thursday, January 22, we're excited to introduce a new add-on available for Premier customers: Operations Hub. The Operations Hub streamlines complex event operations from planning to execution for Event and Operations Managers and Teams across Stadiums, Arenas, Performing Arts Centers and Convention Centers. It enables seamless communication and oversight across planning and delivery of events by creating a direct path from the data entered for event planning to the operational workflows needed to carry out those plans.
The Operations Hub includes:
- Event Dashboard: An overview of the event, including event accounts, contacts, dates, a Gantt chart providing a visual representation of the event’s functions, and a change log to monitor last-minute changes.
- Event Outline: Build your event outlines (production notes, run sheets, event resumes, etc.) within Momentus Elite using a modern, block-based document editor.
- Jobs: Operational teams build, review, and complete work they need to do for an event. Includes tools to both manage and fulfill jobs.
The Operations Hub is an add-on available to users on the Elite Premier tier. If you are interested, contact your primary Momentus contact.
Improved
Settlement Tab for Live Entertainment Financials
View all financial data for an event in the new Settlement tab to help you complete ticketed event settlements without navigating between multiple modules, reducing time and effort. The Settlement tab aggregates existing data from multiple sources (Rental Rates tab, Detailing tab, and the Financials > Payments tab), and also displays a financial summary. The Settlement tab is in the Financials tab on the event details page.
For more information about the Settlement Tab, see Use the Live Entertainment Settlement Tab.
Rich Text Formatting
The rich text editor in instructions sets, instructions, and emails now supports bulleted and numbered lists.
Scheduled Reports
We've made several enhancements to Scheduled Reports:
- Duplicate a Report Schedule: Quickly create copies of existing report configurations to reduce setup time and ensure consistency across similar reporting needs.
- Display Schedule name in when deleting: The delete confirmation dialog now displays the exact schedule name to help you avoid accidental deletions when managing automated reports.
- Test Scheduled Reports: Test a schedule to verify your configuration by sending a test run to your inbox without affecting recipients or waiting for the schedule to trigger.
- Display Date/Time for Failed Report Schedules: The enhanced delivery status now shows exactly when failures occurred, helping you maintain reliable data delivery and respond faster to issues.
- Pause Report Schedules: Temporarily pause active schedules to halt execution while making changes or configuring duplicated schedules.
- Add String Parameter Support with Static Lookup Lists for Scheduled Reports: Scheduled reports now support String parameters with predefined value lists, enabling you to provide stakeholders with well-structured, grouped reports without manual processing.
- Scheduled reports now support reports that use predefined (static) filtering and grouping options, making it easier to deliver clear, well-organized reports to stakeholders without any manual cleanup. Dynamic lists of values (which are built by querying the database itself) are not supported.
Schedule a Report has been updated with these enhancements.
Package Display in Price Schedules
We've made some updates to how packages display on the category slider in price schedules:
- All packages will be listed, even if they have not been added to the price schedule.
- All packages will be clearly labeled with their type (manual or fixed per person rate).
- Packages which have not been added to the price schedule will have a Add to price schedule link.
This enhanced display will help administrators quickly understand each package's pricing structure and easily identify which packages are already configured versus those available to add, eliminating the need to navigate to separate pages.
New Event Detailing UX Improvements
- When creating a function in the new UX table, the system-generated function name will be replaced with the function type when you select it, as long as you have not edited the system-generated name (we don't want you to lose any intentional changes!). This now matches the behavior in the classic function mass editor, as well as in the Create Function slider (although there isn't a system generated name there).
- You can now search by Function Type on the event details Detailing tab.
New In-App Support Bot
We have upgraded the Virtual Support bot in the application. It is now AI-powered and better able to answer your questions based on information in the Elite knowledge base; in fact, if you've used the chatbot on the knowledge base recently, it's the same one, just accessible in Elite now.
To use the chatbot in Elite, click Help in the left navigation and select Virtual Support. Type in your question and hit send! Be sure to be as specific as possible and ask clarifying questions as needed. Need more help? Submit a ticket directly from the chatbot and rest assured you’ll receive the same high-quality support from our amazing Support team.
Insights Enhancements
We’ve added the name field to contracts and introduced three new views: vw\_event\_contracts, vw\_event\_proposals, and vw\_event\_addendums. Fixed
- Resolved bug where Insights database view "vw_event_item_rental_charges_and_adjustments" was not correctly populating "invoice_id" and "is_standalone" fields.
- Resolved issue where the Event Charges download report showed errors on charges with adjustments.
- Resolved bug with Event Order report for customer-specific event.
- Resolved bug when using the mass Event Order download from either the Event List section or Reports section, you are able to select events with either the | or / or \ characters if they have event orders generated. In the zip file, it doesn't download events with | in the event name and if the event name has / in it, it creates a sub file with anything before the \ or /, then the file inside is the rest of the name.
- Resolved issue where in DevExpress, the field type for the date field has changed from DateTime to undefined. This causes an issue with joins on the date field to show associated calendar notes.
- Resolved rich text formatting issue for Insights where format of the general instruction is not respected. Regardless of spacing set for the text in the Elite environment, the insights template will generate uniform spacing between each line of text. Additionally, the background color for the text is not properly generated.
- Resolved bug with Report Scheduler when trying to configure a Report Schedule in the FireFox browser, the last step is to add reports and when the box appears to select 1 or more reports, the window does not show a Save button.
- Resolved bug where the Account View export lists all accounts instead of filtered results.
- Resolved Error downloading Attachments for Exhibitor Orders for a few select orders in Prod for specific customer.
- Resolved bug where Item quantity was retained after canceling add/edit action for Exhibitor Store.
- Resolved bug where available times in Booking Portal were not correct when the event times are not consecutive.
- Resolved issue where the user could add multiple events to an invoice that is generated by the Invoice Schedule. Invoices originating from events with an Invoice Schedule applied will now be limited to only include charges from the respective event. This ensures that invoice schedule calculations (percentages and remaining balances) will be calculated correctly within the context of that event.
- Resolved issue where if a user is deactivated and reactivated, an SSO error occurred.
- Resolved bug when copying a function with packages, the package is not copied over, only the items (note, this will only copy those in the applied price schedule).
- Resolved bug with Activity Logs where they weren't displaying correctly when symbol (|) is included in Function Name.
- Resolved bug where Function calendar slider does not update department items when switching to a new function.
- Resolved bug where in the Functions table in the new UI, the width of the pill does not adjust with the column width. In fields such as Type or Room, if you have a longer name, the pill truncates the content event if the column is expanded.
- Resolved bug where a scheduled report with only date parameters fails in the report scheduler.
- Resolved bug where user could not open the event in a new tab from the task slider.
- Resolved issue where Rate Type is not included on tracked item changes in logs.
