When you send an email to multiple recipients in Momentus Elite (whether by adding them individually or by using a Contact Group), the application sends one email to all recipients together, not a separate email to each person. All recipient email addresses appear on the To line, so everyone can see each other's addresses.
If you need to keep recipient email addresses hidden from one another, use the BCC field instead of To when composing your email. BCC prevents recipients from seeing each other's addresses, even if someone uses Reply All.
Merge Fields and Multiple Recipients
Using name-based merge fields (such as Recipient First Name or Recipient Last Name) when emailing multiple recipients will not produce the expected result. The application populates those fields using the name of the first recipient alphabetically, and uses that same name for all recipients.
For example, if the recipients are Alex and Morgan, both will see Alex's name in the body of the email, including Morgan.
We recommend you avoid name-based merge fields when sending emails to multiple recipients. Use generic greetings instead.
