The Localization settings on a document template allow you to select a language and customize the field labels to display in that language. You can use alternate languages in document templates, but reports are not supported at this time.
This feature is designed to be used alongside the Alternate Languages for Inventory feature. All languages are listed as options in the template, but the only languages available to be selected in Elite when you generate the document will be those configured in the Alternate Languages field in System Admin. See Translate Inventory to Alternate Languages for more information before you get started.
- Click your name in the top left and select Insights Admin.
- Go to the Templates page and select the template you want to update. Its details slider opens.
- Click Design. The template editor opens.
- Click the Menu icon in the upper right and select Localization
- In the Language field, search for and select the language you want to use. Only languages available to be selected in Elite when you generate the document will be those configured in the Alternate Languages field in System Admin.
- Click the translation field to update and enter the corrected translation. Repeat for any other fields that need updating.
- Click the back arrow to close the Localization panel.
- Click Menu and select Save.
