To update an exhibitor order, you will first need to open the order slider.
The rest of this article will walk you through how to:
- Update the Order's Booth Number
- Attach a Document
- Update the Order's Contact(s)
- Add, Edit or Remove Items
Update the Order's Booth Number
- Click the edit pencil icon.
- On the Edit Exhibitor Order slider, update the booth number.
- Click Save.
Attach a Document
- Click the edit pencil icon.
- Add your document by clicking Add Files or by dragging and dropping the document into the box. You can do this multiple times to upload multiple documents or drag-and-drop multiple files, at once.
Documents may be any file format, but they cannot be larger than 30MB.
- Click Save.
Update the Order's Contact(s)
- Click the edit pencil icon.
- On the edit order slider, click the clear clear icon for the current contact.
- Start typing the name of the contact. Suggestions based on what you're typing will appear. You can click one of the suggestions if the contact already exists.
- If the contact doesn't exist yet, click Create 'Name of Contact'.
- When creating a new contact:
- Add an email for the contact. (Optional)
- Add a phone number. (Optional)
If your VenueOps account has email and phone types set up, you can select those, as well. For more information about email and phone types, please see Manage Email and Phone Types. - When you are done updating the contact, click Save.
Add, Edit or Remove Items
- Click the edit pencil icon next to Items.
A lock will appear beside items if the invoice for them has been marked sent. In most cases, we recommend creating an additional order rather than updating an existing order once it has been sent.
- On the select items slider:
- You can narrow the items down by typing a search term.
- Select a category to exclude items in other categories.
- Click an item to add it to the order. You can add an item multiple times in case you need to charge different rates.
- Update the quantity, cost, price or note of each item on the order. If you need to remove an item from the order, click the clear remove icon.
- When the items have been updated as needed, click Save.
