We are often asked if Momentus Elite can be used to schedule staff for events. While you can plan and track some staff information, Elite is not a full staff scheduling solution, which often includes features which allow you to do payroll and handle payroll taxes as well as detailed time tracking (such as tracking breaks).
What staff information can you track in Elite?
- You are able to track positions needed, such as 10 ushers from 6 PM to 11PM or 3 housekeepers from 8 AM to 7 PM. This is done by adding an usher or housekeeper item to the appropriate function on the event. Please see Detail Your Events for more information about adding staff needs to events.
- You are able to track the leadership on both the event and the function level via staff assignments. This will allow you to see the event manager, banquet manager, house manager and other staff positions both in the application and on your event documents, as well as make other functionality available to you. - You are able to track associated third party vendors on the event via additional contacts. Please see Associate and Invoice Third-Party Accounts with Events for more information.
